About Our Film & Folk Dance Classes
Bollywood and film dance classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are group lessons for all ages, blending classical Indian, folk and contemporary styles into high-energy 1-hour sessions at our Karama studio. No experience is needed to join. Students learn choreography to current and classic Bollywood hits, with sangeet and wedding event preparation also available on request.
Classes cover choreography to popular Bollywood songs - both current chart-toppers and classic favourites - incorporating elements of classical dance, folk styles like bhangra and garba, hip hop and freestyle. The result is a high-energy, expressive dance form that is as much a workout as it is an art.
Our choreographer Akshay Kumar brings innovative creativity to every class, keeping routines fresh and exciting while ensuring students develop real dance skills, coordination and performance ability. Regular showcases give students the chance to perform their choreography on stage.
