Piano Classes in Dubai
Learn piano with personalised private or small group lessons at a Registered Trinity College London Exam Centre. All ages, all levels, for almost three decades.
About Our Piano Classes
Piano classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are available as private one-to-one lessons or small group sessions (up to 3 students), with every student playing on their own instrument. Delivered at our Karama studio and online via Zoom, with nearly 30 years of experience as a Registered Trinity College London Exam Centre, we prepare students from Initial through Grade 8.
Every piano session at Melody Makers is a full one hour. Choose private lessons for fully personalised attention, or small group classes where students learn alongside peers, building healthy competition, lasting friendships and shared motivation while still receiving individual guidance. With 2 pianos and several keyboards in our studio, every student in a group always has their own instrument.
As a Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London, Melody Makers offers students a direct pathway to internationally recognised piano qualifications from Initial through to Grade 8. Our exam preparation includes constant progress monitoring, in-house mock examinations that simulate real exam conditions, and specialist workshops with tips about facing the examiner. Students who do not wish to pursue formal certification are equally welcome, many learn purely for the love of playing.
Classes are available both face-to-face at our Karama studio and online via Zoom. Our online piano programme has proven so effective that we have students joining from across the UAE and even internationally, including an adult student taking regular lessons from Melbourne, Australia. Whether you learn in-studio or online, recorded sessions can be provided for practice review between lessons.
Regular performance opportunities at our concerts, stage shows and charity events ensure that students develop not just technical skill but the confidence and stage presence that come from playing for a live audience.

Who Is This For?
Young Beginners
4–7 years
Playful introduction to the keyboard using games, colours and simple melodies. We build a love of music before introducing formal notation, ensuring young students associate the piano with joy and creativity from the start.
Children
8–12 years
Structured lessons developing reading, technique and repertoire, available as private or small group sessions. Students at this age progress rapidly and many choose to begin Trinity exam preparation. Group classes add a fun, social element that keeps kids motivated.
Teenagers
13–17 years
Flexible programmes covering classical technique, contemporary styles, or focused exam preparation. Teenagers often want to play the music they love, so we incorporate their favourite songs alongside technical development.
Adults
18+ years
Whether you are a complete beginner fulfilling a lifelong dream or returning to the piano after years away, our adult lessons are tailored to your goals. Many adult students learn purely for relaxation and enjoyment. Online lessons via Zoom make scheduling easy.

Why we can price below the Dubai average
- ·Same Karama location since 1997. Rent was locked in decades before Dubai's commercial property boom. Most new studios in Jumeirah, JLT or Business Bay pay 5-10x our rate and pass that cost to students.
- ·Family-run, not VC-backed. No investor return targets to hit, no middle-management layer. The savings go back into keeping lessons affordable for UAE families.
- ·Small class sizes by default, not as an upsell. You get personal attention at the group rate — not a crowded class with a premium 1:1 tier gating the real teaching.
- ·No hidden fees. No enrolment fee, no recital fee, no annual membership. Pay month-to-month. Exam fees only if you choose to sit Trinity or ABGMVM.
