Guitar Classes in Dubai
One-to-one acoustic guitar lessons for all ages and levels at a Registered Trinity College London Exam Centre. Pop, rock, folk, blues, jazz and more.
About Our Acoustic Guitar Classes
Acoustic guitar classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are one-to-one, 1-hour lessons for children and adults at all levels. Held at our Karama studio and online via Zoom, we prepare students from beginner through to Trinity College London Grade 8. Our multi-instructor faculty covers pop, rock, folk, blues, jazz and Bollywood styles using both plectrum and fingerpicking techniques.
Every guitar lesson is a full one-hour, one-to-one session with a dedicated instructor. This individual format allows your teacher to focus entirely on your technique, your musical interests and your pace of progress. Students begin with the fundamentals — how to hold the guitar, basic open chords, strumming patterns and simple songs — and progressively develop skills in barre chords, fingerpicking, scales, improvisation and music theory.
Trinity College London’s Acoustic Guitar syllabus covers both plectrum (pick) playing and fingerstyle technique, giving students the versatility to play any genre. As a Registered Exam Centre, we prepare students for graded examinations from Initial through to Grade 8 with in-house mock exams, progress monitoring, and specialist workshops on exam technique.
Our guitar faculty includes multiple experienced instructors who bring diverse musical backgrounds and teaching styles. Students benefit from exposure to a wide range of genres including pop, rock, folk, blues, jazz, Bollywood and classical crossover. Classes are available at our Karama studio and online via Zoom.

Who Is This For?
Children
6–12 years
Smaller-sized guitars (1/2 and 3/4 size) and song-based lessons make learning fun and accessible. We build enthusiasm through playing recognisable songs from the very first lessons.
Teenagers
13–17 years
Learn the songs and riffs you love while building solid technique. Teen guitar students are often the most motivated - we channel that energy into rapid, structured progress.
Adults
18+ years
From absolute beginners to returning players wanting to brush up, our adult guitar lessons are tailored to your goals and favourite genres. Available in-studio and online.

How Much Do Acoustic Guitar Classes Cost?
From AED 280 / month
From AED 440 / month
Why we can price below the Dubai average
- ·Same Karama location since 1997. Rent was locked in decades before Dubai's commercial property boom. Most new studios in Jumeirah, JLT or Business Bay pay 5-10x our rate and pass that cost to students.
- ·Family-run, not VC-backed. No investor return targets to hit, no middle-management layer. The savings go back into keeping lessons affordable for UAE families.
- ·Small class sizes by default, not as an upsell. You get personal attention at the group rate — not a crowded class with a premium 1:1 tier gating the real teaching.
- ·No hidden fees. No enrolment fee, no recital fee, no annual membership. Pay month-to-month. Exam fees only if you choose to sit Trinity or ABGMVM.
